Vientiane-based marketing communications consultant and copywriter Bernie Rosenbloom has served Southeast Asia’s tourism and hospitality industry for more than 15 years. Along with OrientalHospitality.com, his current clients include the Lao National Tourism Administration, Lanith (Lao National Institute for Tourism and Hospitality), and MekongTourism.org.

As a Bangkok resident, Bernie was retained by Delivering Asia Communications (Thailand) to handle accounts such Le Meridien Bangkok, The Sukhothai, and Raimon Land, as well as Diethelm Travel, for which he researched and wrote the annual Thailand Tourism Review 2007.

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) previously retained Bernie to manage much of the content of http://www.PATA.org and produce weekly e-Newsletters and marketing materials. Best Western Asia, Thai Airways International, and Lao Association of Travel Agents have also contracted Bernie in recent years.

Bernie also works as a travel writer for both trade and consumer publications, and is currently a senior contributor for Lao Airline’s in-flight magazine Champa Holidays and PATA Compass magazine. He co-authored The Responsible Tourism Guide to Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, published several Lao provincial guides, and contributed articles to Thai Airway’s Sawasdee magazine, TTG Asia, Travel Daily Asia, Travel Review, Lookeast Magazine, ExploreMekong.org, and Southeastasia.org.
