Langham Signs 5th Shanghai Property

Langham Hospitality Group announced it has signed the 214-room Eaton Luxe, Xinqiao in Shanghai, which marks the hotel group’s fifth property in the commercial capital. The hotel is scheduled to open in late 2012.
Located in a high-end residential area inside Songjiang district, and near the Shanghai Metro, the five-star property features comprehensive business and leisure facilities including a Grand Ballroom and multiple function rooms with natural light.
The hotel also offers the Eaton signature elements including an E-Club Lounge, all-day dining at Espresso, the T Lounge, Yat Tung Heen Chinese restaurant, an indoor swimming pool, spa, Exert fitness center and Exhale Tai Chi Room.
“The addition of Eaton Luxe, Xinqiao strategically expands our portfolio in Shanghai…Eaton Luxe is proving to be a popular new choice for owners and partners in China who understand the concept of creating an impressive yet never intimidating luxury experience for the guest,” said Regional Vice President, China Lo Young.
Other Langham properties in Shanghai include The Langham, Xintiandi; The Langham, Yangtze; Eaton Luxe, Nanqiao; and 88 Xintiandi.
