Crowne Plaza Opens Danang’s Largest Hotel, Eyes MICE

Crowne Plaza has opened its second property in Danang, and has set its sites on the MICE market.

The 535-room Crowne Plaza Danang is located on the coast, and offers the most rooms in central Vietnam, along with a wide choice of meeting and event facilities capable of hosting functions for up to 640 people.

Besides 2,500 sqm of meeting space, the property also offers a wide variety of dining options including Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, international, and local Vietnamese menus.

Crowne Plaza Danang General Manager William Lau said, “With the growth of MICE, we’re confident that Crowne Plaza Danang will be able to capitalize on this segment’s growth with our outstanding meeting facilities as well as what Crowne Plaza offers in delivering a unique meeting experience.”

He added, “Crowne Plaza will bring a new level of international meetings expertise to Danang with our Crowne meetings director. Whether it’s an intimate event for 10 or a banquet for 600, our Crowne meetings director, a single point of contact, will be able to assist organizers personally from start to finish and deliver a successful event.”

Previously known as Silver Shores International Resort, Crowne Plaza Danang is 15 minutes away from the Danang International Airport and only a few kilometers from the heart of the city’s most popular attractions such as the former imperial city of Hue and Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park.
