Boys from the Black stuff on Koh Samui!

Koh Samui is moving forward with the second stages of re surfacing its roads, three years past 5o% of the Island was asphalted, and now the remaining areas, from the ring road and the side streets are in process of being topped, great news for the Island. at present, form the ring road at Tesco down towards the beach road in Chaweng, is under the black stuff, the smell of hot tar, brings back memories of the uk.

Except they work on Sundays and mostly late at night, no council unions here they are on dead lines and 2014 is the final dates for the completion of all the roads.

Even the lake side roads have been topped, this is a great change and comfort for cars to drive on, the old concrete roads destroy tires and wear them out faster to say the least. Congratulations to the Mayor and his team for the thought and of course the commitment towards a cleaner, and smoother Samui, people will go back and talk about the changes here on the Island,we can only benefit form all this work.
